COMING SOON SPRING 2026!

BORN TO BREATHE YOUTH MEDIA FESTIVAL

Born to Breathe is an annual youth media festival hosted by NorCal 4 Health. It’s designed to educate and empower young people to raise awareness and speak out against commercial tobacco through creative media—films, artworks, poetry, songs, digital pieces, sculptures, and more.

This festival is a space for youth to get creative, speak out, and spark change. Use your voice, and your art, to take on commercial tobacco and nicotine’s impact in your community. Join us in Spring 2026!

Why It Matters

Why It Matters

Why It Matters

Born to Breathe gives young people the power to create change. Past projects have even helped inspire new tobacco policies in Northern California.

Through art, film, music, or writing, participants shine a light on issues like:

  • Big Tobacco’s influence
  • Vaping & environmental impacts
  • Secondhand smoke
  • Youth access to tobacco
  • Addiction & health
  • Mental health & wellness

Your creativity can spark conversations, shift perspectives, and show leaders why youth voices matter.
